all the wonderfully European flairs
Quebec is a city of great history. Unique to North America it has all the wonderfully European flairs of a city from that corner of the world however, it is surrounded by the beautiful nature and charm of Canada. What’s not to love!

Spending a couple of days in Quebec is easy, time will fly by with the variety of activities to see and do here. Here are a couple of the must-see areas from us!

DISTRICT OF PETIT-CHAMPLAIN

The charming quarter of the city center with cobblestone streets and rainbow shaded houses and shops makes for one of the most aesthetically pleasing areas of the city. Quaint little shops, bistros and bars you could spend all day in – don’t be surprised if you get lost for a couple of hours in this corner of Quebec.

Bike Tour Around Île d’Orleans

Less than 15 mins drive away from the city center is the island of Ile d’Orleans. Thought to be one of the oldest parts of Quebec then it provided a home for some of the earliest settlers in the area. Now a nature and food wonderland, no visit to Quebec is complete without getting the wind in your hair as you bike your way around the island.

Check out the old City Gates

All along the old city center, you will cross historic gates that lead you from the new into the old (or vice versa depending what way you go!). These are especially beautiful after dark as they light up wonderfully illuminating the history of the city.

Take a trip to Montmorency Falls

View these beautiful falls from directly above, at an angle and from right at the bottom. Walking over the Pont Suspendu and feel the energy of the water, it’s a moment where you feel on top of the world! Head towards the winding staircase where you will have many picture-perfect moments for all levels and angles. Finally head to the bottom of the stairs and feel the water on your skin. A truly revitalizing experience!
